Sensational breakfasts with homemade cakes, the staff were all in all excellent. The room was well-equipped and complete with a bath.

Family-run hotel with a charming, homey atmosphere and adorable grandma helping in the kitchen. The breakfast was splendid, offering a wide variety of delicious sweet and savory options. The rooms were cozy and quiet, thanks to the thick walls and stone vaulted ceilings. The private off-road parking was convenient. The location was ideal, with a short drive to the nearby town worth visiting. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, even accommodating a late dinner and offering us food for our journey. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Larranaga for one night during our road trip in the Basque Country. It's conveniently located between Bilbao and San Sebastian. Despite the odd industrial area nearby, the hotel is set in a beautiful valley. The historic and quirky hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with lovely bathrooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even with our language barrier. The restaurant was closed, but we heard it's popular with both tourists and locals. The breakfast buffet was a dream, with homemade cakes and delightful treats. great value for money and a wonderful family-run hotel experience.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful. Full of character. A wonderful mix of old with new.
The food. It was expensive and none of my family of four enjoyed it. A real disappointment. My family would stay there again as the hotel itself is special but we would most definitely not eat there again.

A slightly unexpected location, nestled near an industrial estate, but the hotel itself is a hidden gem. The room we stayed in was lovely, with beautiful historic architecture. The staff were helpful, even though we had language barriers. The highlight was the amazing breakfast, the best we had during our trip. a unique and enjoyable experience.

The rooms were clean and the bathrooms very large with good showers.
The location of this hotel was once probably wonderful as a country stay however, the factories have grown up around it and there is smoke spewing form a chimney right out the back deck.It is in the country side but close to many very industrial towns and not a pleasing area at all for travel. It is a long drive to san sebastan and other places we were hoping to visit.

- Poor Breakfast, - The side chain saws and tree cutting is done, the noise starts early in the morning.

The rooms were spacious with beautiful antique furniture and modernized bathrooms. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with a variety of sweet and savory options made by a friendly elderly lady. The hotel is conveniently located close to the village with plenty of restaurants and bars, as well as being surrounded by stunning countryside, perfect for walks and sightseeing.
The hotel's location was a bit disappointing, as it seemed more urban than rural in the photos. There was a wood factory across the road, which was a small surprise.
